More than 50 people took part in the ‘zoom’ wellbeing sessions recently
The sessions aimed to boost mood while having fun learning about new hobbies and interests. Participants learned about the benefits of ‘singing for breathing’, ‘Hobbies for Health’ such as bonsai gardening and knitting, and the therapeutic difference that animals can make in Pets for Wellbeing.
Many thanks go to Tony Doyle (Bonsai gardening), Glynis Smith (knitting), Marika Rauscher (Singing), and Chris McLean and Misty (Pets as Therapy) for fascinating insight and fun all round.
We hope to run more sessions later in the year so let us know if there are particular topics you’d love us to cover: support@actionpf.org
