Today, more than 20% of APF’s support, research and advocacy is made possible by gifts in Wills. In 2024/25 these extraordinary gifts helped us to:

- Commit over £600,000 to pulmonary fibrosis research fellowships and projects, supporting scientists to understand the disease better and develop the evidence needed to improve future care and treatment.
- Respond to 3,255 support line enquiries and provide over 20,000 information resources to people affected by pulmonary fibrosis on topics including diagnosis, oxygen therapy, benefits and medication, helping families navigate life with pulmonary fibrosis.
- Support the next generation of pulmonary fibrosis researchers, funding summer internships and conference awards that help share discoveries, build expertise and accelerate progress across the global research community.
- Deliver hundreds of local support group visits and community connections, helping people living with PF feel less isolated and more understood.
- Campaign for improved care and faster diagnosis, helping ensure more people can access the support and treatment they need.
