Tribute Night for Ronald Bee

March 01, 2022

Ron sadly passed away in November 2020 and to mark this anniversary, Edith his wife and their three sons (Steve, Ritchie and Alan) decided to organise a Tribute Night to celebrate Ron’s life. The Tribute Night raised over £2,700 for APF and featured appearances from The Dust Raisers, The Ritchie Bee Band and Alan Bee who performed a solo tribute.

Dad loved music and parties but most of all, family and friends.  Our memorial gig was a combination of all of those and a celebration of his life and everyone’s love for him.

To share the stage with my brothers in honour of Dad was incredibly special.  The night was a huge success and the money we raised exceeded all our expectations but we also raised awareness of such a valuable charity.

It was fitting to have it on Ron's first anniversary, we had tickets printed and charged £5 for entry into the venue. Our sons were the entertainment for the evening in their bands and we also arranged a raffle. The evening was a great success, we raised quite a lot of money but also an awareness of the illness

Feel inspired? Could you get involved in a music event?  Please get in touch and we will support you all the way. Fundraising@actionpf.org
